In-Class Instruction & Driving Weeks Overview

IN-CLASS INSTRUCTION (Total: 30 Hours)

Week 1:

• Monday: No Class (Memorial Day)

• Tuesday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM (4.5 hours/day)

Week 2:

• Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM (3.5 hours/day)

Attendance is mandatory for all classroom sessions.

DRIVE WEEKS (Weeks 3 & 4)

During Weeks 3 and 4, students will not be in class from 8 AM – 5 PM, even though those are our listed business hours. Instead, students will participate in scheduled drive times.

• Each student signs up for 3 drive sessions per week

• Each session is 2 hours long

• Drives are paired – 2 students per session

Each Drive Session Includes:

• 1 hour of individual driving

• 1 hour of back-seat observation (engaged learning while partner drives)

Johnny Example’s Drive Schedule

Week 3:

• Tues, Thurs, Fri → 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  (Drives at 10 AM, observes at 11 AM)

Week 4:

• Mon, Wed → 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

• Fri → 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
  (Each includes 1 hour driving, 1 hour observing)
