Instead of clutching your pearls while your new driver takes the wheel for the first time, let us do it for you.

Instructors licensed by the Department of Safety, will guide your new driver; teaching them the rules of the road. Steer Clear is the only driving school in the Tri-cities area, and we’re here for you.

Steer Clear Services

  • A full six week course consisting of 30 in-class hours of instruction and 6 hours of behind the wheel instruction in one of our fully insured, dual-brake equipped vehicles with a licensed and certified instructor.

    No permit required to enroll!

    Talk to your insurance agent or broker about possible insurance discounts for graduates of this course!

  • In addition the the Standard Course, one-on-one drives may be purchased for students who may be neurodiverse, struggle with social anxiety, or have special needs that would best be accommodated in this setting.

    Any student electing Individual Drives as an add-on to their course is required to currently be enrolled in or have recently, successfully completed a Standard Course.

    Each student is required to complete 30 hours of in-class instruction and 6 hours of drive time in order to be issued a certificate of completion.

    Individual Drives can also be purchased as a stand-alone product. No certificate of completion will be issued.

  • The Advanced Course encompasses the Standard Course curriculum and drive time, but allows for DOUBLE behind the wheel time to solidify the safe driving habits learned in the classroom.

    Any student electing this course will have two hours of behind the wheel instruction every week.
